Thank You

Over the past year we have met a lot of new people, and reacquainted ourselves with others. I have to say those who have been with us on this project are worth their weight in gold. So many I want to thank and let them know just how much they have meant to this project.

Harvel Escue, I really don’t know what to say, without you none of this would be possible. We worked together through the fall of the mill, and we have intended to keep you and your wife an active part of everything we do. May God bless you and your wife Wilda always, you could never know how much this has all meant to us, or how grateful we really are. Thanks a million

Charles Hockensmith (President of Kentucky Old Mill Association), we owe such a heartfelt note of gratitude. He has been a wealth of information, who has spent many hours on the phone with me, and has always made me feel like he thought we could make this happen. Thank you so much for your support, it means more than you could ever know! We are posting an article he had written in the SPOOM edition of “Old Mill News” and we hope you enjoy it as much as we have (read first page here, read second page here).

There are a few others with KOMA that we owe a lot to. Larry Meadows, thanks for all the years of support and guidance. We couldn’t have ever got started without you. Now on a different level, there is our attorney Terra Knight, she is an absolute keeper. I knew when I read our By-Laws she had my heart and I wouldn’t let her get away. Terra Knight (Attorney at Law), thank you for everything. You are awesome!

My Husband Jeffrey Whittaker, thank you for all your support and patience with me, this project, and for helping so much. I don’t know if you really know how much it has meant to me. Marla Lewis, you have been with me all the way and I couldn’t ask for anyone to be any more than what you have been. Please know my thoughts and prayers are always with you. I Love you to the moon and back!

Adam Paris, our official photographer, what a blessing to find such a young talent. He has been there for us since we began and we appreciate him so very much. Brandon Miles our website manager (also my son), I hope you know how very much we appreciate you. I am so proud of you and all you have done. We also would like to thank everyone who has shared memories and photos through phone calls, Facebook, and our website. You have all been great and we appreciate you all so much.

Thanks everyone for your support,
Alicia Whittaker
